Flotsam and Jetsam #53

clock January 18, 2012 09:20 by author Nick |
  • Woohoo!  I made it into Verity Stob again! (See #9 in “Arrival of the users of Delphi”.)
  • The nesting of the comments in my latest post on FreeAndNil (which I appreciate, by the way, even if it does get testy) got fairly deep, and it revealed a flaw in my CSS – each subsequent nesting resulted in the font getting bigger and bigger.  Not being an expert in CSS, I wasn’t sure what to do, and once again, StackOverflow came through in about five minutes.  Sweet.  Anyway, it is fixed now.
  • True to my word, I have no games on my phone anymore.  You can waste a lot of time playing games on your phone.   And a quick comment on my vow to “Produce more, consume less” – note that I didn’t say “Consume nothing”.  Winking smile Some of you have been pointing out that I’m still watching movies, etc.  Yes, but I am doing less of that, and being more deliberate.  Again, didn’t say “nothing”, just “less”.  Winking smile
  • Hey, with regard to my earlier post about Android and iOS, I will post the following without comment:  Even Woz Thinks the Android Bests the iPhone
